Abu Haneefa Sohail
Ustadh Abu Haneefa is an educationalist and student of knowledge. He has worked extensively in community projects in the UK. He holds regular study circles on reflections on the Qur'ān and his field of expertise is the tarbiyya of young people.
An educator and writer on Islam. He is of Palestinian origin but was brought up in the UK and although an architect/planner by profession, he currently works with Al-Manar (Cardiff) as the English Islamic programmes officer. Ali is known as the author of various books including ‘Origins of the Mosque of Cordoba’ and ‘The End of Times’, and continues to deliver sermons, lectures and regular classes across the country.
Ustadh Asim Khan is currently the Imam of Redbridge Islamic Centre, instructor for the Sabeel institute, & author for Islam21c.com. He has, from an early age, excelled in academic studies and has gained a Masters in Pharmacy from the University College London, UK, as well as studying Arabic and Qur’anic Sciences in Cairo, Egypt. He appears regularly on Eman Channel and has a special interest in Tafsir studies.
Mufti Menk is an internationally recognised scholar and orator who has been named one of the top 500 most inﬂuential Muslims in the world for the last 6 years. A promoter of harmony and
coexistence, he is an inspiration to the young and old, Muslim and non-Muslim.
Ustadh Jamal Abdinasir was born and raised in the UK, the country in which he also completed the memorisation of the Qur’ān by the age of 13.
Ustadh Jamal began studying under the tutelage of Sheikh AbdirRashid Ali Sufi in 2010 and continues to study with him today. He currently holds Ijāzah in the Ten minor Qirā’āt from the Sheikh. He has also studied under Sheikh Ahmed Esa Al Ma’sarawi. Both scholars are from the most senior authorities in the Qur’ān globally.
Ustadh Jamal plays a pivotal role in Qur’ānic Da’wah in the West providing various courses and programmes in the UK. He is also an Imām and Instructor at the East London Mosque whereby he holds a weekly sitting harbouring hundreds of students.
He has also completed sciences in the Arabic Language and various studies in Ulūm al-Qur’ān.
Sheikh Wasim Kempson was born and raised in London, U.K. He accepted Islam in 1994 and went on to study at the Islamic University of Madinah. He completed a Diploma in Arabic Language followed by a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Shariah. He completed a Master of Arts in Islamic Law at SOAS University in London. He has been involved in various institutes and schools.
